The Indian Education Committee (IEC) are parents and guardians who commit to creating educational plans for our students. The IEC serves as a collective representation of all students who live within the district’s service area. Our members are appointed through the Indian Education Committee’s standing bylaws.                                                                                         

The purpose of an Indian Education Committee representative is to provide improved educational opportunities under the Johnson O’Malley regulations designed to meet the special needs of all Indian students and support the development of those programs that meet the needs of all eligible Indian students.
