Apex Online Learning Expectations:
- Attendance - Make sure to log-in daily for attendance and read the daily announcements.
- Due Dates - It is very important to learn the skill set of meeting due dates. All assignments on your Apex course progress guide have specific due dates . Make sure you’re following your Apex pacing guide and calendar.
- Resets - Students have two attempts at all quizzes, CST's and final. A third attempt/reset will be granted by teacher of record once student makes contact to discuss assistance with the lesson such as tutoring.
- Time Management - Since all classes are on-line, managing your time is essential to make sure you are not doing everything last minute. It is important for your success to learn this skill set as it will help you in college, work, and for effective future life management.
- Make-up Work – Exceptions are made by teacher on an individual basis after a student/teacher meeting takes place. Teacher will make a one-time extension to your Apex calendar to help you maintain grade until class is finalized.
- Time on Task/Instruction & Assessment: There is a minimum of 25 + instructional hours required to be granted credit for your classes. If you don't meet the requirement and data shows a majority of your time in assessment with little to no time in instruction - you will retake the class.
