Chemistry emphasizes finding ways to continue developing students' ability to understand the fundamentals of chemical concepts and develop students' 21st century skills. Students are introduced to scientific concepts to understand and appreciate the significance of learning for development. Students are inspired to engage actively and enhance their curiosity to understand how the world works. The journey can be so challenging, but, surely, persistence and determination will make all the difference. Have fun learning!

Mrs. Ma. Dulce A. Palomares has been in the teaching profession for 33 years. She is a cum laude graduate of Philippine Normal University, Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Secondary Education and a Master of Science Education Major in Chemistry. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management from De La Salle University - Dasmarinas, Philippines. She was recognized as an Outstanding Key Woman Educator in 2015 at CGUHS in Casa Grande, Arizona, sponsored by the International Society for Key Women Educators. Connecting with students and helping them develop their fullest potential are her most rewarding parts in this noblest profession.
