  • Message from the Principal:

Dear Parents, Students and Community Members,

Window Rock High school administration and staff would like to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year!  We are extremely excited to be able to open our doors to have in person learning once again.

Window Rock High School strongly encourages all students to get vaccinated before the school year starts.   WRHS will follow CDC and state guidelines to maximize our ability to provide a safe learning environment for students and staff.  Please be advised that the recommendations for dealing with Covid-19 change constantly and what might be acceptable one week…may not be acceptable the next week.  Stay patient and flexible as we navigate student’s returning to the classroom;  We will accomplish this together as partners.

WRHS will be running a 7 period day this year.  Classes are 55 minutes each.  The 7th period is meant to be a support and development class to help students with developmental skills that they might have missed out on during their online and remote learning.  The 7th period class will be different for every grade level. To further our support for student credit and developmental learning; WRHS will be providing Afterschool Reinforcement beginning August 16th.  This will take place afterschool from 3:45-5:30 Monday-Thursday.  We will also be starting our Saturday Academy by August 21st.

We look forward to seeing students in the building, classrooms and the athletic fields.  It is our sincere vision to help every student regroup and get back on the road to academic learning this year.  There are many students in our school, across the state and the across the nation who need extra support this year.  We will meet this challenge head on…Together!

    This is…

    Who We Are!

    And it is…

    What We Do!

    With Respect,

    Dan Horsley

    Principal, WRHS
